In the search window you can search for a brand name like Zocor or the generic name simvastatin. If the generic drug is available, a table of choices will appear and at the top you will see ZOCOR = simvastatin.
If either the brand name or the generic is not available, you will see “not found”.

When you search for a brand name you must type in the complete name but it makes no difference if it is capitalized or not. When you search for a generic drug, on the other hand, you can search on the first letter or part of the name; such as s or simv and you will find simvastatin.
